The Donegal flag is flying high over Savoury Fare restaurant in Athlone, owned by proud Ballyshannon man Rory Currid.

Rory has been living in Athlone for over 30 years and founded Savoury Fare with his business partner, Des Hennelly from Mayo.

"It's fair to say Rory never forgets his roots!" shared Savoury Fare Athlone. "Dun Na Gall Abú! Best of luck on Sunday lads!"

Originally a sandwich shop, Savoury Fare has grown to three restaurants in Athlone at Irishtown, Monksland and Fernhill garden centre, with another premises soon to be opened in Moate, Westmeath. Savoury Fare employs over 85 staff in the area.
