Jamie Dornan won the Outstanding Talent Award 2023 at the Richard Harris International Film Festival
UPON winning the Outstanding Talent Award, Jamie Dornan thanked the team of Limerick's Richard Harris International Film Festival.
As Jamie was unable to attend the red-carpet gala awards ceremony at the Thomond Park Stadium on October 29, the actor made a video of his acceptance speech, which was played during the event.
“I just want to say thank you so much to everybody behind the Richard Harris International Film Festival for this Outstanding Talent Award. It feels wrong, but I'm really hugely appreciative of it, the acknowledgement and the support. And to have followed a fine line of people who've received this award in the past,” Jamie said.
“I am truly humbled by that. And truly humbled to be associated with a name like Richard Harris. And for everything he did for film, Irish talent, and Irish acting. It's a very cool thing that I do not take lightly, so, I’m hugely appreciative and thank you. Sincerely, thank you,” he continued.
In association with Amcomri Entertainment INC, the 11th Richard Harris concluded with a ceremony after 111 screenings took place between October 25 and 29.
In total, 27 awards were handed out in the largest awards ceremony of its kind in Ireland, hosted by actors Sean Treacy and Maksuda Akhter.
