Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker has touched down in Dublin Airport en route to Donegal for Christmas, the Irish Examiner has reported.

The actress has a home in Donegal with fellow actor husband Matthew Broderick and they couple, along with their children, have spent a lot of time there over the years.

According to reports, the couple touched down at Dublin Airport's Terminal 2 on Friday morning as passengers on the flight noticed the famous pair who they said interacted with fans onboard.

Sarah Jessica Parker was wearing a mask on the six-hour flight from New York but was still instantly recognisable to fans.

The famous couple have three children who has also joined them on the festive trip 'home' to Kilcar.

Sarah Jessica Parker has always been vocal about her love of Donegal and has been spending most summers there over the last 20 years.

She even hailed the pubs this year when she reported as saying: "We have some great pubs in our neighbourhood there. Every time we are there I try to have a glass of Guinness."
