As Spotify users as checking out their 2024 listening habits with the launch of Spotify Wrapped 2024, who are the top played artist in Ireland across the year.
For those who don't know what Spotify Wrapped is, it is a yearly release of Spotify users listening habits with in depth stats on what you have been listening to, what genres caught your attention, and you users top played artists and songs of the year, something that is always plastered across social media that week after it drops.
No surprise on who took the top spot in Ireland, as she took the global top spot as well, Taylor Swift couldn't stay out of the news this year and quite clearly couldn't stay out of playlists either as she topped the charts. The American pop star shut down Dublin for three days with her sold out Eras Tour over the Summer, so it's no surprise that the artist top the charts charts on Spotify.
With two new entrants filling out the top three in Ireland's most played artists, with country star, Zach Bryan taking second spot, and singer/songwriter Noah Khan taking the third spot.
Filling out the top 5 are two familiar faces, with the ever present, Kanye West taking forth spot, and Billie Eilish in fifth.
The only Irish representation in the top 5 comes with Hozier's 'Too Sweet' as the second most streamed song in Ireland, just behind the song that had the world in a chokehold with Noah Khan's 'Stick Season'.
