Donegal Castle will host a day of fun activities for children as part of Cruinniú na nÓg on Saturday, June 7.
Cruinniú na nÓg is the annual day of free creativity for children and young people.
This family fun day is hosted by Donegal Town Community, DFRC Donegal, Donegal Castle, and Donegal Railway Heritage Museum and will take place from 12pm to 4pm.
The full programme of the day is as follows: Makey Uppers Mystery Bag, 12pm-1pm; Green Fairy Storytelling and Walkabout, 12pm-2pm; The Mad Professor Fun Science Show, 2pm-3pm; Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts Walkabout, 2-4pm; Lets Play Donegal, 2pm-4pm and Nemo Le Magician, 2pm-4pm.
Facepainting and arts and crafts will be available throughout the day.
There’s no need to book for the event. All children must be supervised by an adult.

Cruinniú na nÓg is the brainchild of the Creative Ireland Programme and is organised locally by Donegal County Council’s Culture and Creativity team with young people from the Donegal Youth Council.
