A casting call has been issued in Inishowen for a short documentary-style film due to be shot locally in mid-February as part of a television project.
The filmmaker behind the production is seeking a girl with natural red hair, dress size 10–12, to take part in the cinematic shoot, which will take place at locations around the Inishowen Peninsula. All costumes and props for the project will be provided as part of the production.

While the role is unpaid, those who take part will receive a professional photoshoot afterwards as a thank-you for their involvement. The photoshoot, which is valued at €250, will result in a high-end set of creative portraits and is described as an opportunity to be involved in a unique local film project.

The documentary is expected to have a strong visual and artistic focus, with the filmmaker describing it as a creative collaboration rooted in the local landscape and community.
Anyone who is interested, or who knows someone who may be suitable, is being asked to make contact directly with the filmmaker by private message. Applicants are asked to include a recent photograph and confirmation of their availability in mid-February.
Further details and expressions of interest can be made by sending a private message directly to the project’s creator, by calling074-937 6019 or by email on info@photosfromireland.com
