The Glasow St Patrick's Day parade sees crowds marching from Glasgow Green to Merchant City
Donegal had a strong presence at Glasgow’s St Patrick’s Day parade.
The 2026 Glasgow Mary, Maria Neely, and the 2026 Connacht Mary, Katie McClafferty, attended representing the Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival. There was music from Banna Ceoil Ghaoth Dobhair and Banna Ceoil Rann Na Feirste.

“A truly wonderful day in Glasgow as we celebrated our Irish heritage and the strong partnership between Ireland and Scotland,” Glasgow Mary from Dungloe posted. “The parade into the city centre was filled with energy and pride, with Irish music, GAA, Irish dancing, and our own representatives from the Mary From Dungloe International Arts Festival, all helping to make the day so special. It was a brilliant celebration of Irish culture, community, and friendship here in Scotland. A day to remember."
