The annual Killygordon 5k drew over 253 entries on Tuesday evening with proceeds all going to Multiple Sclerosis Ireland.
The Aurivo/Donegal Creameries event has become a popular date in the local road race calendar and Jon-Jo Doherty of Finn Valley AC was the race winner in 15 minutes and 40 seconds.
Doherty won from David Porter from Inishowen, who crossed the line in 17:03 with Finn Valley AC’s Ryan Quinn third in 17:09.
Inishowen AC’s Gatis Pavilons placed fourth in 17:13 and Darren Toland of Finn Valley AC completed the top five in 17:39.

It was a Finn Valley AC 1-2-3 in the female category, which was won by Leoni Cooke in 18:33 for 12th overall, ahead of Finn Valley young guns Andrea Reid and Aimee McElchar in 19:08 and 19:13 respectively.
A total of 253 participants toed the line.
