Full results: John Travers and Rosin Flanagan win Letterkenny's St Patrick’s Day 3K

John Travers and Rosin Flanagan were the respective male and female winners of the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure St Patrick’s Day 3K Run in Letterkenny this morning.

Travers, who represents Donore AC of Chapelizod in Dublin, was first home in the men's event in a time of 8:30, which was 16 seconds in front of Finn Valley AC’s Oisin Toye, with his clubmate Odhran McBrearty next just three seconds further back.

Another Finn Valley AC competitor, Flanagan, clocked 9:20 to win the female race, with Nakita Burke of Letterkenny AC second in 9:44 and former Letterkenny AC member Maria McCambride, in the Dundrum South Dublin colours, third in 10:25.

Proceeds from the event will go to acquiring sports hall equipment for Scoil Mhuire gan Smal.
