In Pictures: St Patrick's Day celebrations come early to Ardara

The traditional Sunday parade was a celebration of people and place with a great atmosphere in the town as the community came together

Ardara celebrated St Patrick’s Day with a fantastic parade on Sunday, March 15.

Local community groups, schools and businesses came together to put on a memorable spectacle for the people who came from near and far for the traditional Sunday parade.

Ahead of the afternoon parade, there was an artisan market, with an opportunity to pick up delicious food produce and handmade crafts. And local businesses embraced the theme by decorating their shopfronts and adding a few drops of green to their tasty treats.

There was plenty of entertainment throughout the weekend, and many a catch-up with old friends on the street and in the town’s café’s and bars.
