There was a 1-2 for Letterkenny AC at the Omagh Half Marathon on Sunday.

Stephen McCauley took victory in one hour, six minutes and 55 seconds.

McCauley, who had a fine season on the road in 2025, has clearly picked up on that theme by winning around the streets of Omagh.

Letterkenny AC’s Michael Fox was second in 1:08:48.

James Speight of Dromore Runners, a former Finn Valley AC athlete, was third in 1:10:16 with Finn Valley AC man John Joe Doherty fourth in 1:10:17.

Rosses AC’s Maria McGee was second in the women’s race, clocking 1:16:50.
