Two Donegal boxers impressed hugely on Friday night on their way to winning National Under-17 titles at the National Stadium in Dublin.
Dungloe boxer Mullis Boyle dominated her final, defeating Grace Bailey of Castlebar BC, Mayo 5-0 in the 66kg final.
And it was a similar scenario for Doohan, who boxes out of Dunfanaghy BC, as he defeated Martin Collins of Baldoyle BC, Dublin 5-0 in the 80kg final.
In all, 130 boxers from 73 clubs competed at the tournament across a two-week period.

These champions will now go forward to National Squad Training, in consideration of selection for the 2025 European U17 Championships, taking place at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Centre in Kienbaum, Germany, from December 8-18. This is the inaugural confederation-level World Boxing Championships for this age group.
