Ryan Kelly celebrates his win with members of his team, including brother Darragh Kelly
Ryan Kelly became a two-weight Clan Wars champion in Belfast on Saturday night.
The Moville man was done in one, stopping Switzerland’s Julien Crettol in the opening round to take the Clan Wars super lightweight crown.
Kelly needed just two minutes and 13 seconds before the referee called a halt to the bout on the Clan Wars 54 card.
In 2023, Kelly overcame Aaron Boyle by decision to win the lightweight title.
The 21-year-old overpowered Crettol on Saturday at the New Forge Arena, the Swiss opponent unable to withstand a ferocious ground-and-pound. This was Crettol’s first defeat and his record drops to 3-1.

Kelly, who fights out of John Kavanagh’s SBG in Dublin, spent some time at a training camp in Thailand at the end of 2025 after defeating Shane Smith via rear naked choke last September.
Kelly is the younger brother of rising PFL ace Darragh Kelly, who is due to return to the octagon next month in Belfast.
