Rory joined Heneghan in 2022 as a Senior Account Manager

Heneghan Strategic Communications has announced the promotion of Rory Sweeney to the position of Account Director, effective from January.

Rory joined Heneghan in 2022 as a Senior Account Manager and has played a key role in delivering strategic communications support to many of the firm’s clients across sectors, including corporate, financial, infrastructure, and professional services. The clients he supports include ABP Food Group, SYS Financial, ISME, ABM, Actavo, the Veterinary Council of Ireland, ATM and Alstom.

A native of Ballyliffin, Rory holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations from Dublin Institute of Technology and a BA in History and Politics from University College Dublin. He has over eight years of experience in public relations and has previously worked with two senior Government Ministers.
