Evan Gorrell from Donegal Town was one of the graduates at the inaugural Mary Immaculate College Thurles Conferring Ceremony.
Evan, a Business and Computer Science teacher at Errigal College in Letterkenny, graduated with a Master of Education in Leadership and Mentoring.

A total of 127 graduates received Bachelor of Arts in Education awards in post-primary teaching, specialising in subjects such as Accounting, Business Studies, Religious Studies, Gaeilge, and Mathematics.
Postgraduate awards at certificate, diploma, and master’s level were also conferred in Mentoring and Middle Leadership in Primary and Post-primary Settings. This marked the first conferring ceremony to take place in Thurles since MIC’s incorporation of St Patrick’s College in 2016.
