Car set on fire in Muff; Gardai on lookout for gang of youths seen in vicinity

Fire services attended to incident, which is being treated as malicious criminal damage
Gardai are on the lookout for a gang of youths after a car was maliciously set on fire in Inishowen.
The incident, which is being treated as criminal damage, occurred in the Cannings Lane area of Muff on Thursday, May 29.
The car was seen ablaze at approximately 4pm that afternoon, just after a number of youths were observed in the vicinity.
Fire services attended the scene and extinguished the fire a short time later.
Gardai are appealing to anybody who may have dash-cam footage from the area to get in touch with them at Buncrana Garda Station on 07493 20540.
“If anyone observed these youths in the area, or if they have any relevant information, we ask them to please get in touch with us,” a Garda spokesperson said.
