A man is due to appear in court on Wednesday in connection with a serious assault at the weekend in Glencolmcille.
The man, aged in his 20s, is due to appear before Wednesday’s sitting of Glenties District Court.
He was charged by Gardai investigating the alleged assault, which occurred on Sunday evening, April 23rd, at around 9.30pm.
A man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Garda arrested a man and detained him under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He has since been charged and will be brought before Wednesday’s court sitting in Glenties.
