Locals need to see Ballybofey and Stranorlar Town Plan
A 17-year-old girl had to receive hospital treatment after being allegedly assaulted by a girl in Ballybofey. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an assault that occurred in Ballybofey Town on Tuesday, June 13 at approximately 7pm.
The teenager was walking with a friend in the laneway between the car park at Main Street known locally as Mc Elhinney's carpark and Chestnut Road when she was approached by a group of females, one of whom is alleged to have assaulted her.
The girl in question had to attend Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained, none of which are believed to be life threatening in nature.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Mc Elhinney's carpark or if they travelled along
Chestnut Road around that time and may have footage to make it available to gardaí. The group of females in question are believed to have been hanging around in the general area of the carpark that
evening so if anybody observed them or if anybody has any relevant information they are asked to please contact Letterkenny gardaí on 074 91 67100.
