Car stolen, abandoned and subsequently relocated in Letterkenny

Letterkenny Gardaí or the confidential line may be contacted in relation to the incident

A resident of Ard Lonan, Longlane, Letterkenny reported that their car had been stolen from the area. 

The car is a white Toyota Vitz, partial registration ‘132 DL 27’. The resident reported that their car had been stolen between the hours of 5.15am and 6.30am on Wednesday, March 20. 

The stolen car was located later that day at Midday in the Glencar Irish area where it had been abandoned. 

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed this car being driven in or around Letterkenny on that date to make contact with gardaí,” a Garda spokesperson said. 

“If anybody travelled in the areas of Ard Lonan between 5.15am and 6.30am or within the area of Glencar Irish between 10am and Midday on March 20 with a dash cam, we ask them to make contact with gardaí. “Letterkenny Gardaí may be contacted on 074-9167100 in relation to the incident. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.”
