The theft occurred between April 1 and 2 - then, the damaged van was subsequently relocated at Kirkstown, Letterkenny on Tuesday, April 2

Stolen van was ‘completely destroyed by fire’ in Letterkenny

If anybody can assist with relevant information they may contact Letterkenny gardaí

A White Peugeot Partner van with a partial registration number ‘NX62’ was stolen in Letterkenny.

The van was parked at Rosemount Terrace by the owner on Monday, April 1 at 12.30pm and when the owner returned to collect it the following day he realised that it had been stolen. The theft occurred between April 1 and 2. 

“The stolen van was located at Kirkstown, Letterkenny at approximately 10.30am on Tuesday, April 2,” a garda spokesperson said. “It had been completely destroyed by fire.” 

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed this van being driven in or around Letterkenny or at any location between April 1 and 2 to make contact with Gardaí on 074-9167100. 

“If anybody can assist with relevant information they may contact Letterkenny gardaí on that number or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
