Two men were arrested after over €125,000 worth of drugs was seized in Donegal.
An estimated €116,000 worth of cannabis herb and €10,000 of suspected ‘magic’ mushrooms was seized on Thursday.
Gardaí attached to the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit carried out searches at two properties within the Milford District and seized the drugs.
Donegal Live understands that the operation centred on properties in the Creeslough and Glen areas.
Two men, one aged in his 50s and the other aged in his 40s, were arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The men have since been released and a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis.
A Garda spokesperson has said that the investigation is 'ongoing'.
