Appeal issued over alleged assault in Buncrana

CCTV has been viewed and Gardaí say that they eager to speak with a number of witnesses who are believed to have been in the area at the time

Gardai in Bucnrana are investigating an alleged assault on the June Bank Holiday weekend.

The alleged incident is said to have occurred at around 3.30am on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Maginn Avenue, Buncrana.

CCTV has been viewed and Gardaí say that they eager to speak with a number of witnesses who are believed to have been in the area at the time.

A spokesperson said that those with information should get in contact or those with dashcam footage should make it available to Gardaí.
