Car keys, chainsaws, garden equipment, rugs and alcohol stolen from holiday home

The door of a holiday home  in the Ballintra area was forced open and a number of items stolen.

Gardaí in Ballyshannon are investigating the burglary that occurred at a holiday home in the area of Drumoske, Ballintra between Monday, July 29 and Wednesday, August 14  but which was only recently discovered. 

Garda Grainne Doherty said:  “The door of the property was forced open and entry was gained. 

“A variety of items were stolen from within eg, car keys, chainsaws, rugs, alcohol, garden equipment, crystal. 

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed any type of suspicious activity or vehicles in that area during that time period to make contact with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071 9858530. 

“The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.”
