A road bicycle and hand tools were stolen from a shed in Letterkenny.

The burglary occurred at an address at Glencar Irish beside Dr McGinley Road, between 9pm on Saturday, August 31, and 7pm on Monday, September 2.

A wooden shed at a house in that area was broken into between those times. The lock on the shed was broken and entry was gained. A road bike - black in colour with a blue stripe - and several hand tools and power tools were stolen from within.

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in that area to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” Sergeant Charlene Anderson said. “If anybody can assist with relevant information they can contact the Garda Station directly or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
