Letterkenny Garda Station
A River Island handbag was taken by an intruder from a house in Letterkenny.
A man gained entry to the house at Windmill View, Letterkenny in the early hours of Friday, September 13. The incident is said to have occurred between 12.30am and 12.45am.
The man entered an occupied property via the unlocked front door.
When disturbed he then fled via the back door and stole a River Island handbag from within the property. The bag had not contained any cash.
A Garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have observed this male on foot in the area in the early hours of Friday morning or any suspicious activity/vehicles to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
“As always we appeal to anybody who may have been in the area around that time with a dash cam to make the footage available to us.”
