Man who stole iPhone and bicycle in Letterkenny is refused bail

Man refused bail at Glenties District Court

A man charged with theft of an iPhone and a bicycle in two separate incidents has been refused bail. 

William Friel, 33, whose address was listed as ‘no fixed abode’ appeared before Glenties District Court on Monday, December 23.

He is charged that on November 28, 2024 at High Road, Letterkenny, he stole an iPhone. 

Friel is further charged that on July 30 at ATU Letterkenny, he took a bicycle without consent.

Judge Brendan O’Reilly refused bail and remanded Friel to appear before him again at a special sitting of Ballyshannon District Court on Friday, December 27.
