Fire Services were at the scene to put out a fire in Milford this morning
Fire services had to extinguish an early morning fire in Milford when a wheelie bin suspiciously started a fire.
Gardaí were alerted that a fire was in progress at Firmount, Milford In the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, January 14, at approximately 4:15am.

It was established that a wheelie bin at a house in that area had been set alight and the fire had caught on to a fence to the rear and the side of the property. The fire was extinguished by the fire services and thankfully nobody was hurt.
“We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in the Firmount area around that time to make contact with Gardaí,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. “If anybody was in the area with a dash cam between 3:30am and 4:30am, we ask them to please make the footage available to us. Gardaí in Milford may be contacted on 074-9153060 in relation to the matter.”
