Gardai are investigating after five sheep were stolen
Five sheep were stolen from a field in Portsalon recently.
The sheep were taken from a field in Rosskirk, Portsalon between 3pm on Tuesday, January 14 and 11am on Thursday, January 16.
One of the sheep was a yellow-painted Suffolk and the other four were Dutch spotted sheep.
Gardaí in Milford are appealing for the assistance of the public in relation to the theft.
A spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity or unknown vehicles with trailers in the area between those dates to make contact with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.
