Uninsured motorist caught by gardaí after failing to stop at checkpoint in Moville

Two drivers in Inishowen face court appearances having been pulled by the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit over the weekend.
In the early hours of Monday morning, Buncrana Roads Policing Unit were operating a checkpoint in Moville when a car failed to stop. Follow-up enquiries led An Garda Siochana to the car in question in Carndonagh. The car was seized as it was not insured. Both drivers now face a court appearance.
Gardaí were patrolling the Carndonagh area, also in the early hours of Monday morning, when they came across a van that was being driven in a poor manner. The driver of the van was then arrested on suspicion of drink driving and the van was seized as it was not insured.
