Large quantity of home heating stolen from Annagry holiday home

ALERT: Offaly gardaí in warning as home heating oil thefts soar

Gardai say that around 600 litres of home heating oil was stolen in the incident

An estimated 600 litres of home heating oil is believed to have been stolen from a holiday home in the Annagry area.

The incident is believed to have occurred at a property in Annagry East between Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13.

The property in question is close to Annagry village. 

Gardai have launched an investigation and a spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity in the area between those dates to make contact with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.

“We would like to remind the public to always report suspicious activity or vehicles in their area to Gardaí immediately.”
