Officers at Buncrana Garda Station are investigating the incident
A stolen car was found crashed in Muff a short distance away from where it was taken.
A silver Volkswagen Golf was discovered on its roof at Racecourse Road, Muff on Saturday last, March 15, but no driver or passengers were at the scene.
The collision is believed to have occurred between 5.15pm and 5.50pm.
The car involved in the collision was reported to have been stolen from the area of the Craig Road in Muff before the collision occurred.

A Garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to road users who have a dash-cam and who travelled within either of those areas between 5pm and 6pm on that date to make the footage available to Gardaí. If anybody witnessed the collision, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.”
