Gardai seized three vehicles from uninsured drivers in Cloghan

The drivers in question have been charged to appear in court.

Three vehicles were seized from uninsured drivers in the Cloghan area on Saturday.

Gardai from Ballybofey Garda Station were involved in the operation.

The incident occurred at lunchtime on Saturday and one of the motorists was arrested after failing to stop when Gardai signalled for him to do so.

A number of other road traffic offences were also detected.

The drivers in question have been charged to appear in court.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Never take dangerous and unnecessary risks on the roads. Never drive while under the influence. Slow down. Ensure that your documents are in order before getting behind the wheel.”
