Van travelling on wrong side of road causes Donegal hit-and-run

A van was travelling on the wrong side of the road and collided with a vehicle in Raphoe

A female driver was travelling from Convoy towards Raphoe when a grey Peugeot van travelling in the opposite direction travelled onto the wrong side of the road and struck the car, causing damage. 

The road traffic collision occurred on the R236 at Tullyvinny, Raphoe, on Thursday at approximately 8:10 p.m. The driver of the van did not remain at the scene. No injuries were reported.

We appeal to anyone who may have observed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage from that stretch of road to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” Garda Grainne Doherty appealed.
