The digger bucket was stolen from a construction site to the rear of Letterkenny Retail Park
A brand-new digger bucket was stolen from a construction site to the rear of Letterkenny Retail Park.
The digger bucket is black in colour, 1.6 metres wide and approximately 900mm deep. The theft occurred on the Paddy Harte Rd., Letterkenny between 2:30pm on Friday, August 8 and 8am yesterday.
In order to remove the bucket from the area, the use of heavy machinery would have been required.
“We appeal to anyone who may have observed heavy machinery of any description in use in that area over the course of the weekend to make contact with us,” said Garda Niall Maguire. “Should anyone come across a similar (new) digger bucket for sale on a second hand basis, we ask them to alert Gardaí also.”
