Three burglaries have taken place in the Bruckless area.
Two of the burglaries occurred in the area of Tullintain and one occurred in the area of Multains. The thefts took place between 2am and 7am on Saturday.
In the first incident at Tullintain, a car at a house was entered and a number of items were stolen from it (eg, sunglasses, glasses) and a shed was also entered and small amounts of tools were stolen. These items were later recovered nearby.
At another incident in the area of Tullintain, a door to a vacant house was forced open and a hedge trimmer, an orange Oregon chainsaw and a red Oleo Mac chainsaw were stolen from within.
In the area of Multains, a shed was entered. No damage was caused to any property. A chair was stolen from within.

“We are interested in hearing from anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the Bruckless area in the early hours of August 30,” Garda Claire Rafferty said. “Any relevant information should be passed on to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530 or to the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
