A Letterkenny man is to stand trial charged with the sale and supply of drugs.
James Duncan, 37, appeared at Letterkenny District Court. He is charged that on October 8, 2024, he had in his possession cocaine at his home at Cnoc Ard Apartments in Letterkenny.
He was also charged with having cocaine for the purpose of sale or supply, that he had in his possession Benzocaine in circumstances to give rise to the influence that is connected to a drug trafficking offence at the same address.
Garda Sergeant Jim Collins said a book of evidence had been served on the accused.
He also told the court that the Director of Public Prosecutions had directed that the accused be sent forward to the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court commencing on October 28. Solicitor for the accused, Mr Patsy Gallagher, sought legal aid and was assigned one counsel for the trial.
