A large quantity of cannabis was found
Two men were arrested after a large cannabis find in Letterkenny on Sunday evening.
Gardaí from the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit carried out an operation into the sale and supply of drugs in the Letterkenny area.
The pair were arrested after being found in possession of a large quantity of cannabis. Detectives conducted several follow up searches in the Letterkenny area.
Further quantities of controlled drugs and fireworks being seized.
The two men were charged and bailed to appear before Letterkenny District Court.
A Garda spokesperson said: “We would like thank the public for their continued support and assistance with our efforts to tackle the sale and supply of controlled drugs in Donegal.
“Gardaí are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to the sale and supply of controlled substances in Co. Donegal or the border region, to contact the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit (in confidence) on 074-9167100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.”
