Gardaí in Donegal made nine arrests last week for drug and drink driving
A total of nine drivers were arrested in the past week in Donegal on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Since last Tuesday, January 13, seven drivers were arrested on suspicion of drug driving, while two arrests were made on suspicion of drink driving.
“We urge all drivers never to get behind the wheel of any type of vehicle while under the influence,” said Garda Gráinne Doherty. “If you are aware that an incident of drink/drug driving is taking place or if you are aware that it is about to take place, please alert Gardaí immediately.
