Teenage boy sought following e-scooter theft at Letterkenny University Hospital

Gardaí are appealing for sightings of a teenage boy following a theft in Letterkenny.

The theft of a grey Segway-Ninebot e-scooter occurred on Wednesday, February 11, shortly after 10:50am at Letterkenny University Hospital.  The boy, who is aged in his early teens with brown hair and wearing a blue hoodie, can be seen taking the scooter from the bike stand near the front door and then making his way to the front gate on it, according to the CCTV footage.

“We appeal to anyone who may have observed this teenager on the e-scooter in that area or captured him on their dash-cam footage, to get in touch with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” a garda spokesperson said. “We urge the public to always secure their bike or e-scooter with a lock when it is left unattended.”
