Three e-scooters were seized in Letterkenny yesterday
Gardaí seized three e-scooters in Letterkenny yesterday.
Letterkenny gardaí say they seized the e-scooters following reports that youths had been using them “on footpaths in a dangerous manner”.
“The seized e-scooters are believed to have been in breach of power, weight and other regulations,” shared An Garda Síochána Donegal.
Gardaí have reminded parents not to buy e-scooters for children or allow them to have one in their possession.

“If your child already has one - take it away. These are not toys. They are powerful pieces of equipment that could put young users, pedestrians, and other road users at real risk. Enforcement will continue.”
Visit the E-Scooter section of the RSA website for information on e-scooter regulations.
