Donegal gardaí investigating as van set alight and ‘destroyed by fire’

Gardaí are investigating after a van was “destroyed by fire” in Donegal. 

The incident of criminal damage occurred between 11pm and Midnight on Saturday, February 28, at Moneydarragh, Gleneely.

“A van that had been parked along the roadside was set alight between those times and it was destroyed by the fire,” a garda spokesperson said. “We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in that area with a dash-cam between those times to make the footage available to Gardaí. “If anyone can assist our investigation with relevant information, we ask them to contact Buncrana Garda Station on 074-9320540 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
