Gardaí issue a witness appeal following the theft of a wallet in Letterkenny

The wallet, which contained foreign currencies, was stolen at around 3:40am on Saturday, March 28, on Neil T Blaney Road. 

A delivery driver had pulled up at a business and was unloading the lorry when he noticed the door open and his wallet was stolen. The incident occurred while the driver was busy at the rear of the vehicle. The wallet was found later and the US dollars and South African Rand had been stolen from it.

“We appeal to anyone who might have travelled along the Neil T Blaney road between 3am and 4am on that date with a dash-cam, to make the footage available to us,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. “Any relevant information should be forwarded on to Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
