A man who fled after being assaulted was followed by a group of males to a nearby house in Letterkenny and while entry wasn't gained a window was smashed.
Gardaí in Letterkenny are investigating the assault which occurred in Glenard Park, Longlane on Saturday, November 26, at approximately 00.45am. They are also investigating the subsequent criminal damage which occurred at the house in Hazelbrook Crescent where the window was smashed.
Gardaí say the man who was assaulted was treated at Letterkenny University Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
