Paddy O’Donnell, Milford

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Paddy O’Donnell, Rosgarrow, Milford, late of Downings and Tory.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel Rest, Mountaintop tomorrow afternoon, Saturday, January 21 at 4.15pm, going to the Church of St John the Baptist, Carrigart to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Sunday morning, January 22 at 11.30am followed by internment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Kidney Society, c/o any family member.

Donal Bradley, Clogher, Barnesmore

The death has occurred suddenly of Donal Bradley, Clogher, Barnesmore.

Donal will be sadly missed by his Daughters Nicole and Victoria, brothers Patrick and John (Michelle), sisters  Rosemary Myers (Billy) and Breege O’Keeney (Ronan RIP), and his nieces and nephews.

Donal’s remains will be reposing at the home of his brother John Bradley, Clogher, Barnesmore F94P793 from 12noon until 9pm on Saturday and from 11am until 9pm on Sunday.

Remains will leave the wake house on Monday morning at 10:20 for 11am Mass in St Agatha’s Church Clar with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Rose Murphy, Malin Head
  
The death has taken place in England of Rose Murphy, (née Glackin), Ballygorman, Malin Head.

Reposing at her home in Ballygorman on Friday, January 20 from 3pm to 9pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Lagg, Malin, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Maureen Kelly, Buncrana

The death has occurred of Maureen Kelly (nee McKenna) Shandrum, Dumfries and Buncrana. Maureen is predeceased by her husband Owen, brothers James, Eddie, Paddy, John and her parents Patrick and Cassie. Sadly missed by her loving family Siobhan, Kathleen, Sharon, Liam, Jason, her sister Bridie (Birmingham), sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends and the wider family circle.

Maureen's remains will repose at her home from 6pm on Friday. Funeral on Sunday at 11am Mass in St Mary's Church, Cockhill, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Robbie Ellis, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Robbie Ellis, Drumstevlin, Donegal Town.

Deeply regretted by his wife Jean, sons Robert (Mandy) and Andrew (Natasha), grandchildren Caleb and Lucas, sister Kathleen, nieces and nephews and extended family circle.

Remains reposing at his family home on Friday, January 20 and Saturday 21 from 2pm to 9pm. House private at all other times and on the morning of funeral please.

Funeral service in Killymard Parish Church on Sunday, 22 at 2pm followed by burial in New Edrim graveyard.

Brian O'Doherty, Dunkineely and formerly Bundoran

The death has occurred of Brian O'Doherty, Brenter, Dunkineely and formerly of Sea Rd, Bundoran. January 19 2023, peacefully in the excellent care of all at Ballyshannon Community Nursing Unit.

Beloved husband of the late Catherine . Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving son Brian Tadhg, daughters Catríona (Barry), Brídín (Dermot) and Aileen (Fergal), his beloved grandchildren Pearl, Tadhg and Aoibhá, his brothers James (Bundoran), Joe (Bundoran), sisters Assumpta Daly (Bundoran) and Eilish (Bundoran), his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all his many relatives neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Family Home, Brenter, Dunkineely (F94 KD43) on Saturday, January 21 January from 4pm to 7pm and Sunday 22nd Jan from 3pm to 7pm. House private at all other times please.

Removal from there on Monday, January 23 at 9.45am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Ruth Galligan, Tullaghan / Bundoran

The death has occurred of Ruth Galligan, Duncarbury, Tullaghan, Co. Leitrim and 15 Benwisken View, Dinglei Coush, Bundoran. January 18, 2023, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Sligo University Hospital.

Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Nuala Galligan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving and heartbroken sisters, Johanne and Michelle, her brothers-in-law Michael McElhinney and Cian Kelly, her adoring nephews Turlough, Ryan and Aaron, and all her many relatives, neighbours and dear friends.

Reposing at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F on Friday, January 20, from 1pm to 3pm and from 6pm to 8pm. Removal from there on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Tullaghan, Co. Leitrim for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough. Ronan Roddy, Stranorlar

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Ronan Roddy, Trenamullin, Stranorlar. Beloved son of Phil and Pauline and much-loved brother of Timothy, Louise, and the late Adeen.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken father, mother, brother, sister, sister-in-law Sally-Ann, nieces Nadine, Freya, and Isla, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey on Thursday, January 19 from 6pm until rosary at 9pm when his
remains will be removed to the family home.

Funeral leaving from his home on Saturday morning, January 21 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am. Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery.

Hughie Eamonn McGarvey, Gweedore

The death has occurred of Hughie Eamonn McGarvey in Letterkenny University Hospital, peacefully surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Eamonn and Máire, his brothers Pádraig and Connie and sister Una.

Sadly missed by daughter Mari, sons Manus & Hugh, son in-law Charlie, daughters in-law Siobhan & Kathy and grandchildren, Blake, Gavin, Zara, Anna, Hugh, Maggie Mae & Hugh Beag. Deeply regretted by sisters Máire (USA), Grace, Bella, Kit, Sadie and brothers John (Dublin) & Ted (London), extended family & friends.

Removal from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest Mountain Top, Letterkenny took place this afternoon, going to his son Hugh's residence Chapel Road Brinalack F92 P304.

Funeral from there on Saturday, January 21 going to Teach Phobail Colmcille, Cnoc Fola for requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rosary both nights at 8pm, family time from 11pm to 11am.

Anne McHugh (née McCann), Killybegs

The death has occurred peacefully at the North West Hospice after a long illness bravely borne of Anne McHugh (nee Mc Cann), The Commons, Killybegs.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Eugene, daughters Aine and Kathleen, sons-in-law John and Jason, granddaughters Julia, Ava and Freya, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at her residence on Thursday to 10pm. Removal on Friday at 1.30pm to St.Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs for 2pm funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Christopher Doherty (Christy Gill), Buncrana

The death has occurred in London England of Christopher Doherty (Christy Gill) The Rock, Foffenagh, Ballymagan, Buncrana. Christy's remains will arrive at 6pm on Thursday, January 19 to St Mary's Church, Cockhill to repose overnight. Funeral on Friday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Christy will be sadly missed by his sisters Annie, Kathleen and brother James his in laws, nieces and nephews, cousins Neighbours and friends. Funeral can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/cockhill.

Catherine (Kate) McErlean (née Convery), Newtowncunningham

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kate) McErlean (Née Convery) Newtowncunningham Co Donegal (Formerly Coolnasillagh, Maghera) Catherine (Kate) R.I.P. Peacefully at Donegal Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Terence and loving mother of Conor, Ryan and Áine.

Devoted granny of Jake and Amelia. Daughter of the late Henry and Bridie and sister of Paddy Joe, Margaret Teresa, Damien, Henry, Anne Marie and Seamus.

Funeral from her home Monglass, Newtowncunningham, F93PK8P on Saturday, January 21 at 11.15am for 12noon requiem Mass in All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 11pm to 11am.

Mary McGonagle (née O'Donnell) Burnfoot

The death has occurred at her residence of Mary McGonagle (nee O'Donnell), Crislamore, Burnfoot. Predeceased by her husband Jim.

Much loved mother of Denis, John, Hugh, Catherine, William and Peter. Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her sons, daughter, son-in-law Gerry, daughters-in-law Sadie, Mary, Edel, Theresa and Lily, grandchildren, her extended family, relatives and friends.

Her remains reposing at her home. Removal on Saturday morning, January 21 at 10.15am to St Mura's Church, Fahan for requiem mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret Houston, Newtowncunningham

The death occurred on December 27 of Margaret Houston (née Gillespie) Moyle, Newtowncunningham, peacefully in Birmingham.

Beloved wife of Peter, loving mother of Pauline, Eamon, Peter and Kieron; mother-in-law of Brendan, Karen, Sarah and Claire-Marie. A much-loved grandmother and great-grandmother.

Beloved daughter of the late Charlie and May, sister of Brian and the late Eamon, formerly of Killyverry, Newtowncunningham
A much-loved auntie to all her nephews and nieces.
 
Requiem Mass took place in Mother of God and Guardian Angels Church, Birmingham on Thursday, January 19, before Margaret is taken home to Ireland for burial. 
Funeral from her aunt Mary Gillespie's home, Moyle, Newtowncunningham F93 PW82 on Sunday, January 22 at 10.15am to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for Mass at 11am.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Teresa Leeper, Ballybofey

The tragic death occurred of Teresa Leeper on December 15 in Birmingham.

Teresa will be sadly missed by her loving husband Joe, daughters Caroline and Sharon and son Martin, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters Bernadette and Rosaleen, brothers-in-law, her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Teresa’s remains will be received into our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Yardley Wood, Birmingham on Monday, January 23 at 6pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at 11am followed by burial at Widney Manor Cemetery. Teresa's funeral will be live-streamed on the following link www.ourladyoflourdesbirmingham.co.uk
