Deaths in Donegal - Monday evening, November 13

The following deaths have taken place:

Jonathan Murray, 253 Lower Mount Marian, Milford

Bernadette (Bernie) Gordon, Sharon Glebe, Manorcunningham

James Browne, Kildare and Drumkeen

Maeve Faulkner, Tinnycahill, Donegal Town

Jonathan Murray, 253 Lower Mount Marian, Milford

The death has occurred of Jonathan Murray, 253 Lower Mount Marian, Milford.

Deeply regretted by his loving parents Martin and Martina, sisters Aisling and her partner Eddie, Hollie, Megan, granny Mary Connor, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Remains will repose at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny,  F92 XE35 where people can pay their respects on Tuesday, November 14, from 6pm until 8pm, when those who wish may pay their respects. Removal afterwards to the family home.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, November 16, at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford.

Maeve Faulkner, Tinnycahill, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Maeve Faulkner, Tinnycahill, Donegal Town.

She passed peacefully at home. Predeceased by husband, Willie.

Sadly missed by her daughters Helen, Barbra, sons, Brendan and Andrew and her grandchildren and extended family.

Funeral Arrangements later.

James Browne, Kildare and late of Stroan, Drumkeen

The peaceful death has occurred of James Browne, Oakleigh, Clane Road, Celbridge, County Kildare and late of Stroan, Drumkeen. 

Surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the staff of Moyglare Nursing Home, Maynooth.

Beloved husband of the late Teresa and brother of the late Patrick and Betty, deeply regretted by his loving children Neil, Ann Marie, Claire and Kevin, sons-in-law Steve and Aidan, daughter-in-law Ailís, grandchildren Tommy, Fiona, Andy, Peadar, Declan, Tomás, Keela and Charlie, brothers Neil and Frank, sister Nora, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth (W23 V99E) on Tuesday from 4pm – 8pm.

Removal from his daughter Claire’s residence on Wednesday at approximately 11:30am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge for 12pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery, Celbridge.

Bernadette (Bernie) Gordon, Sharon Glebe, Manorcunningham

The death has taken place of Bernadette (Bernie) Gordon, (née McConnell), Sharon Glebe, Manorcunningham at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Much loved mother of Paul, Alec, Lila, Noel and Jason. Cherished sister of Joe and John and the late Lawrence, Gerard and Maureen Holmes. Sadly missed by her daughter, sons, grandchildren great grandchildren, nephews, nieces extended family and friends.

Bernie’s remains will arrive at Ray Presbyterian Church, Manorcunningham at 6:30pm on Monday, November 13, to repose overnight.

Anyone wishing to meet the family this evening can do so from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Church.

Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm on Tuesday, November 14, followed by interment in adjoining churchyard.

House private please.
