Sarah Carr, Bruckless
The death has occurred of Sarah Carr (née Boyle) Curraghfeehan, Bruckless, Donegal. She passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Peter, brother John, sister Mary. Sadly missed by her sons Francis (Karen) and James, daughters Mary (Pat), Dolores (Nial), sisters Annie and Breege, her adoring grandchildren Nathan, Rion and Tori, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Remains reposing on Saturday at her residence. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11am in the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal, Bruckless. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family and neighbours only please.
Grainne Duggan, Tory
The death has Taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Grainne Duggan, West Town, Tory.
Removal on Friday May 24th from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain top at 1pm, going to Magheroarty Peir, for removal to her home on Tory.
House Private for one hour at her home on Tory on arrival.
Removal from there on Sundayfor 12 noon Mass in St Colmcille’s Church with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Agnes Gallagher, Glenties and Ardara, Donegal
The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Agnes Gallagher, Tullyard Road, Glenties, formerly of Ballycashel, Ardara. Sadly missed by her sister Mary Crosse (Tipperary), her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her brothers, Packie and John Francis, her sisters, Margaret and Annie.
Remains reposing at her late residence on Friday, May 24 from 1.00pm until 11.00pm and on Saturday from 11.00am until 5.30pm, with removal from there at 5.30pm arriving at St Conal's Church at 5.45pm to repose overnight. Funeral Mass at 1.00pm on Sunday at St Conal's Church, Glenties, with burial afterwards in Ardara Cemetery. Family flowers only. The Funeral Mass may be viewed here.
Dolly 'Treasa' Boylan, Donegal Town
The death has occurred of Dolly 'Treasa' Boylan, Clardrummaghan, Clar, Donegal Town peacefully in Donegal community hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Dolly’s remains will repose in the Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Donegal Town from 2pm on Friday, May 24, 2024 until 9pm and from 2pm until 7pm on Saturday.
Removal from Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Donegal Town on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 7pm for private wake at her late residence.
Removal on Sunday morning at 9:30 to arrive at St Agatha’s Church, Clar for Requiem Mass at 10am with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please donations if so desired to Donegal Community Hospital patient comfort fund.

Rose Browne, Kildare and Buncrana
The death has taken place of Rose Browne, née McLaughlin, of Ryansfield, Newbridge, and late of Fort Dunree, Donegal and The Curragh Camp. She died peacefully at Naas Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her loving husband Jimmy, son David, her parents Bridget and Joseph, brothers and sisters, Sadie, Maureen, Sue, David, Philip, Bridget and Michael, Rose is sadly missed by her children Joey, Jimmy, Declan, Janet, Derek and Michael, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, and partners, grandchildren Louise, Joanne, Keith, Stephen, Gary, Cliona, Joey, Grace, Jamie, Emma, Séan, Jordan, Liam, Amelia, Ruadhán, Séan, and Aodán, great grandchildren Ella May, Lilly, C.J., Eloise, Ena, Max, Hunter and Sadhbh, sister Teresa, brother Joe, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Nell, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Her remains are reposing in Anderson and Leahy’s Funeral home Newbridge on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm with prayers at 7pm.
Removal on Monday morning at 9.30am to arrive at Cill Mhuire Church, Newbridge for 10am Mass. Rose’s funeral can be viewed on www.newbridgeparish.ie/cill-mhuire-church Burial will take place afterwards in St Conleth’s Cemetery, Newbridge.
Kathleen Porter, Buncrana
The death has taken in Letterkenny University Hospital of Kathleen Porter, 13 Hillcrest Ardravan, Buncrana, F93 A9K7.
Beloved wife of Francis Porter and dear Mother of Gary, Creina, Brendan and the late Haley, sadly missed by her Grandchildren Katie, Grace and Brodie, son- and daughter-in-law Simon and Stephanie, brother Jimmy. Sheis predeceased by siblinges Francie (Inky) Gerard, Pete and May.
Her remains are reposing at her residence from 6pm on Thursday. House Private from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.15am going to St Mary’s Oratory for 10am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Cockhill cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/buncrana

The death has occurred of Francis Carr, Ardnawark, Barnesmore peacefully in Harbour Lights Nursing home Killybegs.
Francis’s remains will repose in the Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Donegal Town from 1pm on Sunday until 9pm.
Removal from Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Donegal Town on Monday at 10.15am to arrive at St Agatha’s Church Clar for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Paddy Cavanagh, Dublin and Moville
The death has occurred of Paddy Cavanagh, Clondalkin, Dublin and formerly of Moville and Coral Quarries Ltd.
Beloved partner and best friend of Paula, much loved stepdad to Dean and beloved son of Frankie and the late Sally and brother of Adrian Jackie, Mark and Danny. Paddy will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his heartbroken partner, stepson, dad, brothers, both extended Cavanagh and Kavanagh families, colleagues, neighbours and friends.
His remains are reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Clondalkin Village, D22 K602, on Friday from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon at 12.30pm in Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Rowlagh, D22 VX84, followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium, D24 K1CY arriving at approximately 2pm.
A service to celebrate Paddy’s life will be held in Moville at a later date.

The death has occurred peacefully at Golden Jubilee Hospital, Clydebank, after a short illness, of Mary Martin, Glasgow and formerly Townagorm, Barnesmore.
Loving wife to the Late Joe Martin and much loved mum to Marie (Hugh), Joseph (Margaret), Dorothy (Stephen), Aisling (Graeme). Adoring proud granny to Francis, Martin, Paul, Ronan, Clare, Hannah, Emily, Aodhán and Rory. Precious great-granny to Teidí. Sister of Christy Martin, London and Kathleen Donaghy, The Glebe, Donegal Town.
Mary’s remains will be waked on Friday from 2pm until 9pm, at the home of her daughter Marie Cassidy, Brookfield, Donegal Town, F94ERW0. House private on Saturday morning, please.
Mary’s remains will leave her daughter's residence on Saturday, at 10.15am for funeral Mass at 11am in St Agatha’s Church, Clar, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
