Joseph Houston, Cloghan

The death has occurred peacefully at his home in Birmingham, England, in his 100th year, of Joseph Houston, formerly of Lettershanbo, Cloghan.

Beloved husband of the late Mary, much loved father to Angela, (James) Caroline, (Craig) and John (Helen). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces in Ireland and England, (Mc Cool family, Hone family, Houston family) extended family and friends.

Joe’s Requiem Mass will take place on Monday, January 13 at 11am in the Church of St Joseph and St Helen, Kings Norton, with interment in St. Nicholas Churchyard, Kings Norton.The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the Parish Webcam at https://www.youtube.com/@ssjosephandhelen

Sally Boyce, Falcarragh

The death has occurred in the Donegal Hospice of Sally Boyce, née Curran, Ballina, Falcarragh.

Beloved wife of Kevin and mother to PJ, Kevin, Sarah, Martin and Amy (Rose), dear sister of Roisín, Owen, Donal and Joe. Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Her remains will repose at her late residence from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday, and Friday from 12pm to 9pm where all are welcome to pay their respects. Rosary both nights at 9pm. Family time after the rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Saturday going to St Finians Church Falcarragh for 11am Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Lexie Ross, Carrigans

The death has occurred in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin of Lexie Ross, 133 Dunmore, Carrigans, F93 WY1R

Lexie will be lovingly missed by his wife Anne, son Martin (Bronagh), daughters Ciara (Lee), Laura (Liam) and Una, grandchildren Charlie, Sam, Niamh and Iarlaith, brothers Eamon and Liam and sister Celine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his extended family and friends. Lexie was predeceased by his parents Mary and Willie and sister May. Rest In Peace.

Lexie's remains will be reposing at his late residence on Thursday 26th December from 2pm to 10pm and on Friday from 12pm to 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral cortege will leave his late residence on Saturday morning at 10.20am going to St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bernard Rutherford, Carndonagh, Convoy and Ballybofey

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Bernard Rutherford, The Park, Ballyloskey and formerly Ballybofey and Convoy.

Beloved husband of Rose and much-loved father of Amanda and Paul and dear brother of Pat. Deeply regretted by his son, daughter, brother, his grandchildren Karlann, Kealan, Daisy, Kauri and Willow, his daughter-in-law Hilary, his extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains are reposing at his late residence where all are welcome to pay their respects.

Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.20am going to Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Requiem Mass can be viewed live on the parish webcam.

Kathleen Crilly, Derry and Clonmany

The death has taken place peacefully at home of Kathleen Crilly, née Duffy, 53, Messines Park, Derry City, Derry, BT48 8AR and formerly of Clonmany, Donegal.

Beloved wife of the late Laurence, much loved mother of Geraldine, Patricia, Nuala, John and Elaine and mother-in-law of Billy, Dominic, Sonya and Ken, Devoted grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, dearest sister of Michael and the late Bernadette and Eamon and sister in law of Kathy, Margaret and Patrick.

Her remains are reposing at the family home on Thursday from 5pm. Family time please from 11pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from the family home on Saturday at 11.30am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St Eugene's Cathedral, Derry. Interment will take plac afterwards in The City Cemetery, Derry. The Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam.

Alicia Curran, Killybegs and Tipperary

The death has taken place peacefully of Alicia Curran, née Hogan, of The Old Rectory, Killybegs and Cashel, County Tipperary.

Beloved wife of the late Dr Frank, she will be sadly missed by Cathie, Chris, Louis, Karl, John and Hugh, her brother Frank, her grandchildren Annalivia, Clara Rose, Olivia, Coco, Lucy, Charlie, Lela, Amabel, Milo, Aoibhínn and Odhrán, daughters-in-law Jessica, Claudia, Breena and Susie, son-in-law Vincent, nephews and nieces, sisters-in-law Fran, Maura and Margaret, brothers-in-law Daniel, John and Neil, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Her remains are reposing at her home in Killybegs on Friday from 4pm to 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday in St Mary's Church, Killybegs, at 11am followed by a private cremation.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Irish Cancer Society.

Nora Doherty, Derrybeg

The death has taken place at her home of Nora (Joe) Doherty, Cotteen, Derrybeg, formerly of Stranacorkra, Derrybeg.

Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, sister Margaret and brother Liam. Sadly missed by her daughters Bríd (John), Ann (Paul), Martina (Georgie), her son Seamus (Bridie), grandchildren Jonathan, Maria, Christine, Jamie, Orla, James, Eiméar, Seamus Gerard, Naoise, Lúca, Amber, Nathan and Liam and great grandchildren.

Reposal of her remains continues at her home on Thursday from 12pm until Rosary at 8pm. House private after Rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Trevor Henderson, Gleneely

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Trevor Henderson, Garrabawn, Gleneely F93 TY83.

Much loved Son of Mary Doherty (Brick) and devoted and loving Father of Ethan (Maria - Ethan's Mammy). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his Auntie Annie Henderson, his sisters Joan, Brenda (Noel Boyle), Danika (Kai), his brothers Brian, Shaun (Tricia), Jason (Aisling), and Bernard, his Uncle Jack (Ann), his nephew Ryan and niece and noddaughter Danielle (Nathan), all his nieces and nephews, cousins in Birmingham, Manchester and Isle of Wight, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Trevor's remains are now reposing at his home where you are all welcome to pay your respects. Traffic restrictions are in place with a One Way System in operation until 4pm followed by a Shuttle Bus service.

Funeral from there on Friday at 12pm going to Hillhead Presbyterian Church, Carndonagh for 1pm Funeral Service followed by Interment in Church of Ireland Cemetery, Gleneely.

Patrick Granaghan, Ballyshannon

The death has taken place peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, of Patrick Granaghan, Lawn Park, Ballyshannon, and formally of Ballinacarrick, Station Road, Ballyshannon.

Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Cassie and brother Declan, he is sadly missed by his daughter Katie, partner Liz, sisters, Catherine (Pat), Marie (Paul), Anita, Linda (John), brothers, Raymond (Annette), Roy and Katie’s mother Noelle. Forever remembered by his nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his sister's residence; Marie and Paul Bannon, Ballinacarrick, Station Road, F94 XT20 on Thursday from 11am to 7am. House private to family on the morning of the funeral please.

Removal from the residence on Friday at 11.15am to arrive at St Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannnon for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon with interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery.

Charles McKinney, Buncrana

The death has occurred of Charlie McKinney Holm Cottage, Cockhill Road, Buncrana.

Charlie is predeceased by his wife Kathleen and grandson AJ. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his loving family, Rosemary (Philip), Patrick (Mary), Caroline (Scott) and his cherished grandchildren, brother Michael and sister-in-law his nieces, nephews, cousin and his many friends.

Eileen Mc Nelis, Ardara

The death has occurred of Eileen Mc Nelis, Drumaghy Park, formerly of Ard Connell, Ardara.

Sadly missed by her mother, Ann, her sisters, Julie, Lisa, Lynn and Catherine, her extended family, friends and neighbours. She is predeceased by her father Peter.

Funeral Mass in The Church of the Holy Family, Ardara on Thursday at 12 noon followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan

Kay Timoney, Donegal Town

The death has occurred suddenly in Letterkenny University Hospitalof Kathleen (Kay) Timoney, Ardeskin, Donegal Town.

Sadly missed by her sons Henry (Casey), Jason (Shannen), long time friend, Jackie, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Her remains will leave her late residence at 10am on Thursday for Requiem Mass at 11am in St Bridget’s Church, Ballintra with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining graveyard.
