Mary O’Hagan, Newtowncunningham

The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny on Friday, November 7 of Mary O’Hagan, née Kelly, Castleforward, Newtowncunningham.

Deeply missed by her loving brothers Robert, Martin, Michael, Jim and John, sisters Winifred Hegarty Collins and Patricia Arbuckle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Mary is predeceased by her husband Kevin, sister Claire Boyce and parents William and Eileen Kelly.

House strictly private please at Mary’s request.

Requiem Mass in All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham on Sunday at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Donegal Hospice c/o any family member.

Jim McFadden, Creeslough and Strabane

The death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital of Jim Mc Fadden, 3 Tulach na Greine, Derry Road, Strabane, and formerly of Creeslough.

Beloved husband of Patricia, much-loved father of Gerard, Seamus, Mary, Patricia, Paul, Nuala, Rory and Maeve, and brother of Sadie, Aggie, Martha, Eileen, Cash, Margaret, Brendan and the late John, Tommy, Grainne, Packie, Gerard and Mary.

Reposing at his home from 2pm on Saturday, November 8. Funeral leaving his home on Monday at 11.30am for Requiem Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Derry Road, Strabane at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and family circle.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Steve Monro, Bridgend

The death has occurred of Steve Monro, Drumadoey, Bridgend F93 P8C5.

Beloved husband of Caroline, loving father of Maisie and Alfie, cherished son of Paul and Anne, dear brother of Ian and brother-in-law of Gemma, sadly missed by Uncle Paul, extended family and friends.

Steve’s remains will be reposing at his home from 4pm on Saturday, November 8 where all are welcome to pay respects. Family time please from 9.00pm to 11.00am. Family only please on the morning of the funeral.

Removal from there on Monday, November 10 to St Mura’s Church, Fahan for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by removal to Lakelands Crematorium for cremation at 3pm.

Sally Martin, Laghey

The death has occurred of Sally Martin (née Burke) Rathneeny, Laghey, Donegal, F94 YX53

She passed away peacefully,at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Manus and Hannah, sister Teresa and niece Deirdre.

Dearly loved and sadly missed by her husband, Packie, daughters, Menie (Adie), Carmel (Ronan). Angela (Ryan), Noreen (frank), Caroline (Colm), Sheila (Justin), son Gerard (Hannah), her adored grandchildren, Sarah, Aimée, Connor, Odhrán, Daithí, Shea, Hannah, Rosie, Cormac, Jack, Grace and Hugo, her brother John (Marion), sister Mary (David RIP), nephew Patrick (Catherine), brother in law Attie (Evelyn), extended family and her many good friends and neighbours.

 Reposing at her home Friday, November  7 from 2pm until 9pm and Saturday  from 1pm until 9pm. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral Mass on Sunday in St Brigid's Church, Ballintra at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if so desired to Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny C/O Jackie Carron Funeral Directors or any family member.

Please note a one way traffic system will be in operation during wake times, with entry via Laghey Village and exiting via the L6725- off the old Laghey road.

Eddie Lynch, Buncrana

The sudden death has occurred of Eddie Lynch, Foffenagh, Ballymagan, Buncrana on November 6.

Eddie is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Sarah, and his brother Michael.

Eddie will be sadly missed by his partner Eileen, his brother Bernard and Susie, and his nephews and nieces Adrian, Debbie, Corny, Sarah, Martin, and Kellyanne, his cousins, neighbours, many friends and the wider family circle.

Eddie will be reposing at his home from 5pm Friday, November 7 where all are welcome to pay respects. Family time from 11pm to 11am.

Funeral on Sunday leaving at 10am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen McCormack, Pettigo

The death has occurred of Kathleen McCormack, nee Monaghan, Carrickrory, Pettigo, F94D2H2.

She passed away peacefully at the Sheil Hospital, Ballyshannon surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Denis, son Denis and her brother Michael.

Sadly missed by her children John (Claire), Patrick (Paula), Mary, Teresa (Michael) and Mairead. Her adored grandchildren Nadine, Tara, Vicki, Kieran, Sean, Sarah, Kate and her great grandchildren. Her sisters Nan, Sally and Margaret her brothers Paddy and Teddy, nieces, nephews and all the extended family.

Reposing at her daughter Mairead's home at above address. House is strictly private for family and close friends only.

Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church Pettigo on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Thomas Harley, Quigley’s Point

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Thomas Harley, Clunelly, Quigley’s Point.

Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Gretta, his sister Cecilia and brother-in-law George.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister Elizabeth, brothers Billy and Denis, sisters-in-law Mary K and Claire, niece and nephews Michelle, Daniel, George and Lee, extended family circle, friends and neighbours.

Thomas’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN on Thursday, November 6  at 1pm, going to the home of his sister, Elizabeth, (F93 Y0YX) where are all welcome to pay respects. amily time from 10pm to 11am.

Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church Drung, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Leasmhac ionúin do Bhrendan Kearney, deartháir ionúin Mháire, Chonaill, Lillis, Chlíona agus Mhéabh, agus an duine ab óige den teaghlach, tá siad uilig á chronú go mór. Paul O’Leary, from Gortahork, Co. Donegal, died on September 3 at his home in New Jersey, USA.

Heartbroken are his wife, Lori, his children Michael (Brandi), and Moya (Leo), and his grandchildren, Wyatt and Olive. Beloved stepson of Brendan Kearney, much loved brother of Máire, Conal, Lillis, Clíona and Méabh, he was the youngest of his siblings, all of whom miss him greatly. Gone before him on the Way of Truth are his parents Lillis and Bernie; his wife Lori’s parents, Arnie and Sue; and his beloved sister-in-law, Mary O’Leary. Gregarious and fun-loving, Paul is also mourned by a wide circle of extended family and friends.

Fr Donnchadh Ó Baoill, PP Gortahork, will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Paul’s memory on Saturday, November 8 in the Church of Christ the King at 1pm. Mass will be live streamed on the parish webcam.
