The death has taken place at his home of Cornelius (Con Pheadar) Gallagher, Sleeghan, Derrybeg.

Predeceased by his wife Gracie, son Terry and grandson Barry.

Sadly missed by his daughters, Noreen, Margaret, Jackie, Bernie and Annette; sons, Gerard, Peter, James and Connie; sister, Maggie (Carmicel); brothers, Peter, Mickey and Dom; in-laws, grandchildren and extended family and friends.  

His remains are reposing at his late residence. Rosary nightly at 8pm.

House private from 10pm to 11am. 

Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Derrybeg on Thursday at 11am, with interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery.

Ludmila Bernat (née Musial), 14 Beechwood Park, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Ludmila Bernat (née Musial), 14 Beechwood Park, Letterkenny, peacefully at her late residence, surrounded by her loving family, husband Zdzislaw, sons Mariusz, Tomasz, Jacek, Slawomir, Daniel ane Kamil, daughters Katarzyna and Edyta.

Fondly remembered by her family, extended family, the Letterkenny Polish community, neighbours and friends.

A service will take place to celebrate the life of Ludmila in Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny at 6.30pm on Thursday followed by cremation on Friday at 3pm at Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan.

John Devine, Ballindrait and Raphoe

The death has occurred of John Devine, 3A St Eunan’s Terrace, Raphoe formerly Mossbeg, Ballindrait.

Lovingly missed by his daughter Valerie and sons BJ, John and Ian, six grandchildren, Rose, his brothers and sisters and all his extended family and friends.  

John will be reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Oakfield, Raphoe on Wednesday, November 30, from 3pm to 7pm with rosary at 5.45pm.

Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.30am going to St Patrick’s Church, Murlog for 11am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Patrick H Doherty, Carndonagh 

The death has taken place of Patrick H Doherty, Church Road, Carndonagh, former newsagent of Bridge Street, Carndonagh at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Teish and children, Pearse, Aideen, Dervla, Nuala, Triona and Darragh, his sons-in-law, Joseph, Brian, JJ and Brendan, daughters-in-law, Joanne and Sharon and his grandchildren Aisling, Oisin, Paddy, Ailbhe, Ava, Conor, Charlie, Altan, Oran, Emma and Cian, his brothers John (Dublin) and Aiden (Ballybofey). 

Removal from The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Wednesday at 11.30am.

Reposing at his family home from Wednesday with removal on Friday at 10.15am for 11am requiem Mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 10pm to 10am. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Medical 4, Letterkenny University Hospital.

Mary Kane, Convoy

The death has taken place of Mary (May) Kane, née O’Donnell, Chapel Road, Convoy, peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital.

Predeceased by husband Gerry (2001), sister Ann McGarrigle (Dungarvan) and brother Jim (Convoy). Deeply regretted by her sister Teresa Bellamy (Sandyford, Dublin). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family members, neighbours and friends.

Mary’s remains are reposing at her late residence. Removal from there on Wednesday at 4.30pm to be received in St Mary’s Church, Convoy at 5pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass at 1pm on Thursday followed by burial in St Mary’s old cemetery.

Family time from 10pm to 10am.

Seamus (Jim) Carron, Rathmullan

The death has taken place in Fife, Scotland of Seamus (Jim) Carron formerly of Carradoan, Rathmullan.

Pre-deceased by his wife Carolyn. Deeply regretted by his son Daniel, brothers Liam, Hugh and extended family.

Brenda Crotty (née Bonar), Blanchardstown, Dublin and formerly of Dungloe

The death has occurred of Brenda Crotty (née Bonar), Blanchardstown, Dublin and formerly of Dungloe, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Mater Hospital.

Beloved wife of Michael and much loved mother of Mikey and Emmet. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter-in-law Sinead, brother Declan, sisters Deirdre and Fiona, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Friday afternoon ( December 2) from 12.30pm to 1.30pm followed by removal to Glasnevin Crematorium arriving for Funeral service at 2pm.

Bernie Brennan, Creeslough

The death has occurred of Bernie Brennan, Magherablade, Creeslough / Dublin, peacefully in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Luke’s Hospital, Dublin.

Beloved husband of Ellen, much-loved father of Karin and Linda and adored grandfather of Lauren, Shannon, Daniel, Brandon, Coran and Courtney. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, sister Breda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law Patrick, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.  

Bernie will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village on Tuesday evening from 8pm to 9pm. Removal on Thursday morning, December 1 to St. Michael’s Church, Creeslough arriving for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Doe Cemetery. 

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. Luke’s Hospital (donation box at church). 

Joe McKelvey, Drumkeen

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday of Joe McKelvey, Stralongford, Drumkeen (F93 VKH3).

Deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret, children John, Emma and Mark, partners Laura and Dave, grandchildren Sadhbh and Cuan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Joe is predeceased by his parents William and Bridget. 

Joe’s remains will repose at his late residence on Tuesday from 4pm until 10pm and on Wednesday from 10am until 10pm with rosary both evenings at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.15am going to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen for 11am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Oncology Day Services, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member. House private on the morning of the funeral please.   

Kathleen Geraldine Curran, 31 Willowbrook, Glencar, Letterkenny

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Kathleen Geraldine Curran, 31 Willowbrook, Glencar, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by her daughter Nicola and partner Padraic.

Much-loved mother of Denise and Liam.

House private, please.

Cremation will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Wednesday, November 30.

Mary McLaughlin, High Glen, Carrigart

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Mary McLaughlin, High Glen, Carrigart.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence.

Funeral from there on Wednesday going to the Church of St John the Baptist for Requiem Mass at 1pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mark McDaid (Ned), Cherry Avenue, Carndonagh

The death has taken place of Mark McDaid (Ned), Cherry Avenue, Carndonagh. Mark will repose at his mum and dad’s home, Neshie and Bernie Ned, Templemoyle, Culdaff.

You may pay your respects on Tuesday November 29 from 11am to 11pm and on Wednesday from 11am to 11pm.

Mark’s Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Aughaclay, Malin followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Lagg, Malin.

Family time on the morning of the funeral please

Kathleen Cassidy, Coughlan Avenue, Frosses

The death has occurred of Kathleen Cassidy, Coughlan Avenue, Frosses. 

Predeceased by her husband Paddy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters, Caroline, Margarite and Kathy, sons-in-law Maurice and Tomás, her grandchildren, great grandchild, neighbours and friends.

Remains will be reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles on Tuesday, November 29, from 4pm until 8pm, followed by private removal to her late residence.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 30, in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses at 11am, with burial afterwards in Mountcharles churchyard. House private please.

Neil Doherty (Roe), Glengollan House, Railway Road, Buncrana

The sudden death has taken place in Glasgow, Scotland of Neil Doherty (Roe), Glengollan House, Railway Road, Buncrana.

Son of the late John and Maureen Doherty (Roe), dear father of  Sophie and brother of Marie, Charlie, John Peter, Philip, Paul, Eddie and the late Tommy.

Funeral arrangements will be confirmed later.
