The Show is on! The 2022 Glencolmcille Agricultural Show will be staged on Sunday, July 31.
The committee is confident that the show will be back bigger and better than ever.
“I think in the last couple of years people have had a lot more time on their hands, and gone back to growing vegetables etc and have also taken up new hobbies such as arts and crafts so we are anticipating huge entries for this year's show,” commented Micheal O Gara, Show Chairman.
He added: “We will have categories in cattle, sheep, horses, poultry, arts and crafts, home industries, painting, drawing, photography and childrens’ sections.
He said that they have had “huge interest” since the date was announced.
He continued: “We hope to make it a big day out with something for all the family. There will be live music in the afternoon with local singer songwriter Eunan McIntyre, and in the evening with local band The Minertones."
Stallholders are welcome but must be pre-booked.
